Her early stories were published in New Irish Writing and she was short listed for a Hennessy Award. Her first book, a collection of short stories entitled The China Factory, was published in 2012 by Stinging Fly Press and by Text Publishing in ANZ. The collection was nominated for the Guardian First Book Award (UK) and short listed for the Irish Book Awards.
